Most of the showers I have been to recently have been paid for by the mom and MOH.... I know typically it's the bridal party's responsibility but it seems to becoming rarer. So, out of curioousity, if you know, who is paying for your shower?

As far as I know, my mom is paying for the bulk but asked the MOH and BMs to chip in some if they can. My mom felt weird about asking them at all but for all the weddings I've been in recently, I always contributed to the shower.

I am pretty sure my parents, and my aunt. The shower is going to be at her house, she loves to throw parties, and its right on the water. I can't imagine my parents asking for money from my BM

my mom is going to take care of everything--i feel pretty lucky. she always said that since i'd be paying for the majority of the wedding that she felt it was her responsibility to take care of the shower.

My MoH and BM are paying for the party as far as I know. I don't speak to my parents.

It was going to be my mom and my aunt, but then FMIL wanted to also contribute. So, all three of them.

My sister has never been a MOH before and doesn't have a lot of money so my mom is helping her out a lot. They are also going to ask my BMs to kick in.

i feel bad enough asking the girls to pay for a 200 dollar dress. My mother seems to think it is automatically her responsibility anyway. And my FMIL called to ask if she could contribute as well.

Mom is paying the bulk and my 2 girls will probably help. My girls are both in tight situations and my Mom loves them both so I don't think she will ask for much. Besides I am paying for the wedding and My mom also felt she should do the shower. I just hope she told the girls And for some reason I got the impression that MIL wants to help too.

My mom is deceased and I am only having a MOH. She is married with a young child and they don't have a lot of money. I think my FMIL is paying for a lot of it. I'm assuming it will be at my FMIL's house (MOH lives out of state) or one of two of my good friend's houses. I feel bad because my FMIL and FFIL have already been so generous to us. He designed a new kitchen for us and bought all of the cabinets. IT's also FH's second marriage but the first was very small. I don't think there was a shower or rehersal dinner.
MY FMIL is very good to me.

Um, I think it's FMIL and my BP... Though I'm not sure, they're keeping it hush hush.

i have an inkling that its gonan be a combination of my mom and my mil
my two bm's are under 21 and still in college so they dont have much money so thats why their aunt (my mil) will come into it
