Do people find it acceptable to say oh sorry but we can't come now. Seriously what did I do to people for them not to want to come to our wedding? Over a birthday party yes a birthday party fh aren't coming now. I give up seriously this wedding is not getting here fast enough.

Re: why 2 weeks before my wedding
that is so ridiculous. i'm just waiting for people to do this to me so I can officially go over the edge. I'm with you...so DONE with all of this. I can't wait for my wedding but want to fast forward through these next two weeks.

sorry doll!
just remember that those people should no longer be important to you...you only want people who truly love and care about you at your wedding!
Exactly this!
Hang in there lady

Re: why 2 weeks before my wedding
From what it seems like most people who wait till the end to respond typically arent coming. I feel like if someone thinks that is more important than your wedding, unless its a family party, thats pretty sad.
Sorry lady :o( I havent received any 'nos' yet but I am sure they will come and i will be just as sad!

Re: why 2 weeks before my wedding
I had 11 cancellations the week to two weeks before.
It is VERY FRUSTRATING.

I'm in the same boat. The phrase most often out of my mouth this month is, 'This is a wedding, NOT a keg party'. People just have no regard for the sacred carefully planned guestlist and seating chart. Its driving me nuts!!!

Re: why 2 weeks before my wedding
I had 14 cancelations. in the end, it was $1400 back in my pocket.
as much as you want to be angry, think of the money going back to you.
(that is, assuming you didn't give final payment).
