Why are people putting stuff on my registry?

I was just registry stalking and I'm wondering why people are buying stuff that is NOT on my registry and then having it put on there. if I wanted a therapedic queen pillow top fiber bed I would have registered for it! And it cost $150! Why not get teh food processor I registered for instead Just needed to vent.....At least I'm registered at BBB so returns will be easy!

If someone buys something for themselves and also buys something off your registry at the same time it will show up on your registry. Or, if they show your registry and buy off of it it will get added.

same thing happened to me at BBB, i thought that it was just ppl buying things for themselves while purchasing an item off my registry (which is probably most often the case) but in my case ppl were just buying us stuff that wasnt on our registry....

That's really weird. I'm starting to get anxious that not many people have asked me where my registries are yet and nothing has been purchased off of them yet.

I think it's the Calphalon Contemporary Non Stick 6 1/2-Quart Soup Pot. If you search 'Calphalon and Soup' on BBB you'll see the stainless one. I'm assuming the NS in your description means non stick. Of course I could be totally wrong!

LOL, I have the same thing on my registry and I didn't put it on my registry. I'm pretty sure it's the free gift that comes with the purchase of a Calph product. I rememember when Fh and I went to register the guy who helped us gave us an entire list of free products that the couple registered gets when certain items are purchased. LOL. Mystery is solved (i think)

I felt bad because when I was shopping for my friend's shower, I also bought myself this awesome Stoli gift set they had there, was two martini glasses, two shakers, and 4 tall shot glasses that each had a print of a different flavor's bottle on them, and she probably got all excited that someone bought that for her, but never ended up getting it!
