Me neither......that breaks my heart. Anything sad to do with animals crushes me. WHen I was a kid, during cowboy and indian fights, if the horse tumbled over I would burst into tears - 'is the horse OK??'

I hope you get to keep him I love ferrets

I am completely heartbroken that someone would do that.

I am such a mush when it comes to pets. I cant walk pass a pet store because I want to take home all the animals

When I took Anatomy in college we had to dissect humans and cats. I had no problam dissecting the human since she was like 100 yrs old but I cried (for real) when they put these dead furry cats in front of us---I just couldn't do it. I am such an animal lover.

Because people a$$ume ownership over animals. They are viewed as property and beneath 'us'. Because some people are inhumane, a$$holes.

Chippa, I though ferrets were illegal in NY ? I think they used to be. My aunt had one in NJ and I always see them in Petland here in NJ, but did a law change...just curious- I want one!!!

Ok, give me a call. Yes, it will need clearance and VETPORT will probably need to exam it beacsue you have no vet certificate. AIDS and SARS started from animals...

Me either! People are mean to animals, if they could just speak our language people would never do that. Of course, I can't understand how people eat them either JMO
