because every upright I have owned loses suction and it's frustrating. Also, the hose attachment on my previous vacuum was usless - it had zero suction.

I bought ours in April and we LOVE it!! Linen N Things let me use the 20% off coupon, which helped a lot!

i wanted one, i had even put it on the gift registry but took it off knowing nobody was going to buy it. the commercial said hoover windtunnel is more powerful than dyson.

The Dyson is on my registry and saddly it is the thing I want the most. We have a dog with really short hair that gets stuck in everything. I've heard the Dyson is great for that.

I waited forever to buy this b/c it just seemed like SOOO much money for a vacuum.

Its so worth it. Not only is it amazingly powerful but it makes vacuuming fun (as much as humanly possible).

and here I am thinking that I would be the only person to register for Dyson. I absolutely love it and want it. I found it on overstock.com cheaper than anywhere else. I hope to get it, but I was a little leary about putting on the registry -- thinking someone might say what is she crazy... who cares, its a really cool vaccuum.

I love my dyson. I swear it works better than ANY other vaccuum that I have used. Growing up that was my chore and my mom had to go through at least 30 vaccuums. It's a great investment.

I made it very clear to my mom that the Dyson is what she would get me if she is a really good mom. LOL

I got the Dyson Animal from my aunt at my shower. I looked like I just won the lotto or something!
It works great on pet hair and the suction is amazing. The carpet actually feels fluffier after I vaccuum.

But seriously, this thing picks up EVERYTHING! When you vacuum a bare floor you can actually see dirt moving towards the vacuum. It is so powerful!!

But what really made you register for it.
Was it the no loss of suction thing, the design, power, or price, or the Dyson commercials?

I use it all over my kitchen, bathrooms...
I don't use my broom anymore.

I got mine in fortunoff - i got it at my shower, so i didn't have ot pay for it - it's so expensive, but so worth it!

omg I cannot show FH this thread. He is BEGGING me for this vaccuum and I say it is too much money because we dont even have a place to be able to vaccuum it LOL

We bit the bullet & bought it when we first moved in. I say register for it! It is sooo worth the $$. It moves so smooth, I was really surprised. Plus, It picks up EVERYTHING!

DITTO. I think it is similar to the car thing with guys. Just because it is fast and powerful, does not mean it makes them more of a man to have one nor does it make your manhood any larger than they think it is. My FH wanted one. I nixed it.

we love it! DF has allergies and they are a million times better since we got the Dyson. We put it on our registry and DF's childhood best friend got it for us. He asked to try it and then he bought one for himself too. My DF no longer lets me vacuum - it is his toy. But in reality it makes him breath so much easier.

I totally want a Dyson!! I have really long hair that gets everywhere and I need a super-duper vacuum. The one we have now just broke, sooo upsetting!! It's absolutely going on the registry. FH's aunt has the Animal Dyson and she said it really 'S U C K S'!!!
