Ladies what was the reason behind you picking the date you did for your wedding? I always dreamed of a summer evening wedding. I picked July because I like the month. It's in the middle of the summer and it doesn't rain that much. If it does rain it's quick and then the sun comes back out. Im such a summer girl. I should have been living in Florida.

You're not going to believe this, but my mom is crazy and anyone who knows her would NOT be suprised....
I am a teacher and I love warm weather so summer it was. I originally wanted 7/7/07 because I figured FH would never forget that, plus as a math teacher, i thought the number thing was cool. But, I saw Lombardi's and I loved it and 7/7 was taken. I booked 7/14 instead.
Here's where the crazy mom part comes in. Lombardi's looks out over the LI sound. After the sun sets, there's no lights over the water and the beautiful water view would be gone. CM (crazy mom) looks up the MOON PHASES for 7/14/07 (yes, a year and a half in advance) and realizes that 7/14 is a new moon, meaning no moon, meaning pitch blackness.
6/30 is a full moon, so 6/30 it was.
Now let's pray for no werewolves..... (knock on wood)

I actually always wanted a fall wedding, but it would have been a very long wait since we were engaged in Dec. I picked May because it is a nice month..not too hot, not too cold, it was a good amount of time to plan. I chose the 19th because no other weekends worked!!
