Ladies what was the reason behind you picking the date you did for your wedding? I always dreamed of a summer evening wedding. I picked July because I like the month. It's in the middle of the summer and it doesn't rain that much. If it does rain it's quick and then the sun comes back out. Im such a summer girl. I should have been living in Florida.

Hmm, Well I wanted a Feb. wedding but my family and my RH talked me out of it b/c it turned out that the prices were the same all year. I picked July b/c I figured it would be easy for family to travel and then when I saw 7/7/07 I was like Hey thats kinda cool...FH can never forget out anniversary!! (Not knowing it was going to be the most popular date of the year.)

Wanted a Saturday night wedding no matter what.....we chose Saturday, 11/03/07 because it falls on both of our bdays.....so we'll be celebrating our wedding but also FH's 33rd bday and my 29th!!!

I picked august 4 because i teach summer music lessons until the last week in July so I thought the first week in august would give us enough time to go on our honey moon and at least one more week till school starts again

Well, summer was definitely out because FH does pools/landscaping. We would have had to postpone the honeymoon, which we didn't want to do. I really loved the idea of a fall wedding, I love fall colors, but his sister is getting married in September, and we have another wedding of a close family friend in the beginning of December. Sooo, January was the next best choice. As it turns out, we love our date.

Baseball!!!!!!!!!
Didn't want a summer wedding as it was too hot. We both love how the fall looks and feels. We picked October because the prices were a little lower than in Sept. We picked the 7th because it was enough time to get married, go on our honeymoon and be back in time for the World Series!!!!

I chose June 30th, because i always wanted a June wedding. Since I'm a teacher, i wanted to get married and go on my honeymoon after school was over.

Tom & I got engaged on his suprise 30th in 05....so i thought it would be really cool if we got married 7/7/06 this way our year would be on 7-7-07....after i shared that with him he wanted this date, 7-7-07., b/c it has more meaning.....so there it is.

Honestly, it was the price!! I HATE the winter and I'm a teacher, so the summer would have been ideal, but what can you do? we thought about the fall, like november, but we also didn't want to wait until the end of 2007... so february 07, it is... it lines up with my winter break from school and we've saved a lot of money by having it then... just hoping it won't snow or be too cold!

We both wanted an October wedding but since the prices were higher we decided to go with the next best thing - first weekend in November! It kind of worked out because our anniversary is in November too.

well #1 I'm a teacher and we both wanted to do it over the summer while I'm off.
#2 Our actual anniversary is January 31st and we didn't want a winter wedding so we chose June 30th because it's the closest to our actual anniversary date.

We didn't care about the date as much as it being on a Saturday night. We were originally going to go with March because it's typically cheaper but we were able to negotiate the same price for a Saturday night in early May as March. So of course we went for it

We had a billion reasons...I didnt want a long engagement... our date will be 13 months after we got engaged. I hate hot and humid weather, so March is good for that.... and our date falls in between sports seasons... we are huge baseball and football fans and don't want to miss any games!!

When I went to book I was open to anything except the summer. I wanted to try and avoid the snow. So I got the best deal on a Friday in March. I then picked as close to April as I could get.

Well we are boat and water people...My FH has his own business so in the middle of the summer is out of the question and we chose the weekend after Labor day - still alittle warm with a little chill...we just will not be able to go on our honeymoon until October/November...
