We fell in love with it the minute we saw it. We wanted to move in there, it felt like home!!! We gave up the water/beach wedding idea we wanted when we saw the Estate that was it!!

Well we picked our place becuase we wanted a wedding by the water. Once we had the tasting we knew that this was the place for us. The food was good and the place was beautiful.

It was breathtaking-it spoke to us. The coordinator was the most personable and helpful woman who just loved her job. We knew she cared about making each wedding it's own, and we knew we would love working with her. Plus, it's a freaking vineyard, people!

This is how we felt about ours as well. It was just so US. The other, more tangible factors, were the price (of course!), there's only 1 wedding at a time, beautiful ceremony spot and the service and reputation are both impeccable.

Out of all the halls we visited, Danfords was the only one we could see ourselves holding a reception in. It felt like us. Plus, we have a lot of out of town guests and they could stay on site.

I seriously walked into the hall and stood in the middle of the dance floor and got goosebumps. I knew that is where I wanted our first dance!

We went to quite a few and FH wasn't really on the radar - just decided to check out another Scotto place and we had never heard of this before. My heart was set on another place but the moment we walked in I fell in love - we both knew 100% this was the place for us - no question. As a matter of fact - we went to the place my heart was set on afterwards and it just didn't compare.

We loved the look of it-- it was so beautiful driving up to it.. and each room that our guests would be in were different looking.
It had so much character. And the grounds were beautiful.

Mine had everything I was looking for. It had only one affair at a time going on and it was surrounded by beautiful scenery among other things. You'll know when you go somewhere that it is the right fit for you. I checked out another place afterwards just bc I had only seen one other place to to double check and I ended up walking out right away and not going through with the tour because I knew the other place was meant for me.

I walked into the room where they would hold the reception and I literally could 'see' my reception! We knew we wanted to go with a hotel because of our guests but the room made me choose that particular hotel.
You'll feel it....trust me Good Luck

We had our reception at Larkfield Manor in E. Northport and it was amazing!
The first thing I liked about Larkfield was the romantic elegance of the place. It wasn't over the top with huge chandeliers (sp??) and goudy fixtures like some of the places we saw. I like the fact that they only do two receptions at one time - a large and a small party. We ended up having the whole place to ourself.
I know a some people here didnt care for the BM, but I thought he was cool. He always made us feel important and that my reception was top priority. Before we signed the contract they told us that if we didnt like the food they would give us our deposit back.

It was one of the first places we visited and I kept comparing my reception place to all the others that we visited afterwards. We fell in love with the grounds, the open feel of our reception room(it's very spacious and I Love that), the view to the grounds from the reception room, the mahogany look of the place, and I love the understated elegance feel for the venue. I also loved the food once we went for the tasting. And after hearing all the excellent reviews on the venue, the food, and the service, we really knew it was our place

The Manor East was the first place that we looked out and when we walked in we felt right at home with the workers and Anthony (the owner and my BM). We were looking for a place that had great food and great service and Anthony said that if that is what you are looking for than the Manor East is the place for you. We also want a pre-cocktail hour and still stick to our budget and when we discussed the price and saw the rooms that we are using we just knew that the Manor East was the place for us to have our reception.

Everyone we spoke to said it was the best wedding, food and service they have ever been to!
