Have to be sooo critical about other women.
A co-worker of mine..went to a wedding recently, and said everything was beautiful except the Brides dress....(that how could the Mom or the bm let her pick out such a dress)..She stated that she looked like a weight lifter....The dress was a strapless dress, and the bride was a Big Girl...she brought in pics to show me and I thought The bride Looked Beautiful...
Why do we always have to critize people?? I just hate to think what my guest are going to say about me and my wedding...Just the thought makes me sick

It sad Christine, my friends used to laugh at me when they would say they couldnt wear something becuase they were fat, I would say girls you think Im not shy now and Im overweight If I looked like you girls, **** Id walk around half nude

What is really sad is that most women feel they need to be a size 2 and some end up with eating disorders and a lot of that is due to other women.

If you look at the magazines that men look at women in (Playboy, Penthouse), those women are healthy looking and have curves. Women were meant to have curves, that is how we are built. Somewhere along the line, designers decided we should look like boys, or girls who have not hit puberty yet. That is NOT a realistic image to try to live up to and maintain.

We should embrace our curves!!!

I have love my curves too. I love that I can fit into a pair of jeans and I'm wearing them, they aren't wearing me. I love that I can see my butt in them and they don't hang off and sag. I love that I have to wear button down shirts with an extra button open and blame it on trying to be sexy and not the fact that it can't close without getting booby spread. I also love that my husband LOVES me the way that I am and thinks I am very hot.

I'm a 2 - without the eating disorders - AND I have curves to boot.

I HAVE to disagree with the Playboy reference - buying curves isn't the same as having curves...neither is shaving your nethers to look like a prepubescant girl. Sorry, that's my opinion though.

I am guilty of criticism too. I think we do it out of our own insecurity. But my dad used to tell me that every woman is beautiful in her own way and what goes around comes around. Dont worry about looking good on your day because you will look stunning.

I've noticed that with older woman (you said she was over 50) they can be down right NASTY!! (My Aunt is one of them) Sometimes they are just bitter that nothing makes them happy. My Aunt was quick to look at some of my wedding photos telling me 'You don't look good in this photo' S'cuse me?????
