Why does everything have to be so hard ...UPDATED

I seem to have so much trouble finding exactly (or close enough) what i want - first the dress, then the limo and now a hotel to block rooms

Apparantly there is not hotel within a 25 miles radious of Patchogue that has a bridal suite(w/jacuzzi) and a bar that stays opens till 2am w/o an extra fee.

Is that really so much to ask??

Sorry .. really needed to vent.

Ok - i keep getting calls & emails from these hotels like they want my business - but when i tell them that another hotel has something they dont etc - they're not doing anything to try and get my business. I mean - do these hotels not need the rooms booked. Wouldnt they rather waiver the $100 fee to keep the bar open til 2am and have 10-15 rooms guaranteed. One hotel even gave me a price quote higher than they're normal rate - hello

Ooh, yeah, the south shore is rough when it comes to hotels. But there are a lot of bars in town. You may have to go north towards the airports or something.

I was kinda disappointed when I found out that my hotel doesn't have a bar. My reception ends at 6:30, so guess who is crashing the restaurant bar next door...wedding gown and all.

No there isn't with the hotel (not that I asked for a bridal suite with Jac). Some of them will give you a Hospitality Suite that you can stock with booze for an after party -- that is what we are doing.

I know - it totally stinks - i cant even find a hotel that has a bar that you can walk to.
