we registered for square everyday dishes -- i just saw someone bought us 1 set of everyday dishes but in the round version which we did not register for..
why don't ppl get it
edited to add: dont want to sound ungreatful bc im happy ppl are buying us stuff. it just is frustrating bc we obv registered for the ones we liked so now it means we will have to go do returns/exchanges.

i don't think you sound ungrateful...people just need to learn that you picked things for a REASON!

Let me tell you- my mom is like that. She will never buy something off someones registry. She will look at the registry and find it elsewhere cheaper. I know its going to drive me nuts when it comes to my registry

That's just fine to do, they can always call up and tell them that it's fulfilled so you don't get doubles!

Re: why dont people understand registries
is it possible the store screwed up the order? I walked in w/ a registry at Babies R Us once when my friend had a baby shower, and the woman in the store glanced at the list, pulled something off the shelves and dragged me to the checkout counter. It wasn't until I actually got home and started wrapping the gift that I realized I had bought the wrong item that wasn't exactly the same color as the one requested in the Registry.
