Why I Adore My Hall......
Last night as I was leaving my work, I had a missed call from Russo's. I started worrying, and wondering why they had called.
Did I have a payment due I didn't know about![]()
Did they accidentally double book my room![]()
Do they need to change my date![]()
Nada...
The second I called a Suzanna or Susan answered. I told her this was Nina from New Mexico. She right away connected me to Ann, which is the initial BM that I dealt with upon looking at Russo's. I'm nervous waiting...Here is the conversation
Ann: This is Ann
Me: Hi Ann this is Nina returning your phone call.
Ann: Oh Nina Hi!! I was calling because we were in a meeting and we were all talking. We were wondering if Peter got home yet?
Me: (Kind of caught off guard because I was expecting the worst) Oh my yes, he came home like two weeks ago safe and sound.
Ann: (She yells) He's home!!! And you hear a bunch of hoorays in the background. Aww Nina that makes us soo happy we just wanted to check. I just got chills up my spine I am soo happy for you Nina
Me:(Still caught off guard) Oh thank you soo much I look forward to bringing Peter ther to see.
Ann: Well we just wanted to check on him. And please tell him from Mr. Russo and the staff that we thank him from the bottom of our hearts for what he did...and we are sooo honored to host this American Hero's wedding here!!!
That was basically the end of the convo. I was still so caught off guard....but when I got off the phone I got a tear. It was soo nice not to be just a client, or a number......but more of a personal relationship. Just because of that one phone call, for that caring...I feel like having all my childrens baptisms, sweet sixteens, and weddings there.
The phone call wasn't to sell me anything, add anything, or hound me for money. It was just a simple to see how Peter was. Thats it..not one mention of my wedding besides they are honored to have it.
Sorry it was soo lengthy......but it an industry where people are often taken advantage of, and are just a number......they sure went out of their way to make me feel quite opposite.
I am soo giddy about this and now even more happy and confident in my choice of Russo's![]()
