Have you gotten tested for allergies?

I was constantly getting sick for a while.. Everyone told me to get tested for allergies and I kept saying NO NO NO it's colds.

Turns out I got tested for allergies and I'm allergic to everything in the air. What really ***** is that when I would get sick I would take Echinacea (an OTC herb that's supposed to boost your immunity). Turns out that echinacea is from the ragweed family and I'm allergic to ragweed.. So I was making myself worse!

My allergist wasn't too happy about that and reminded me that just b/c something is natural it doesn't mean it's good for you and I was like I know I know.. oops

You should get tested for allergies. My doctor gave me allegra. I take it when I feel an attack coming on. It works and has no side effects (to me).
