' will you be my bridesmaid' gifts??

hello LI Brides... newbie here. Just got engaged 2 weeks ago.this site is beyond helpful, but still learning my way around the site.

so, I wanted to ask my bridesmaids to be my bridesmaids with a cute gift or maybe ask them in a nice way.. i found adorable cards thats say will you be my bridesmaid but i want to add a gift with that as well,,, any ideas?

Thanks ladies... btw this is my first post, ,,,so idk if im doing this right..

I got my girls cookies from weddingish.com. They loved them!

Welcome and congrats!!! Yahhh another 2013 bride!! I think the card is a nice idea and maybe have a lunch where you can ask them to be your bridemaids!! happy planning!!

For the grownups I gave them flip flops and I took paint pens and wrote bridesmaid 2012 and their name on it. I wrapped it and attached a personalized poem on the outside. For the kids I wrote a princess poem and put it in side a double 5x7 frame. The other side said 'reserved for a pic of us in our princess dresses' and then I took them to Melting Pot for the princess lunch.

I asked with cookies as well....but what I did was decorate little treat boxes based on each individual girl (Michael's and AC Moore to the rescue) and then went to my local bakery and had black and white cookies made up. So, on the box was the girls name and 'will you be...' and on the cookie said '...my bridesmaid (or MOH)?' The girls loved them and the cookie only cost $1.50 as opposed to the $5-$10 I was seeing on different sites. HTH!

I got my girls a cookie from the Sugar Chic (amazing!) a bottle of bridesmaid red wine, and a handmade card from an Etsy seller.

They LOVED it.

I went to barnes and noble and got them all bridesmaid books/guides, a nice card, with a poem inside and something additional for each...

I had them over for drinks/appetizers. I gave them black totes with hot pink monogram initials (my wedding colors), I chose a different bridesmaid poem for each girl and framed it,, i wrote a personal card for each with what they mean to me, each girl got a bridesmaid handbook, and i got shotglasses engraved saying 'Thank you for taking a SHOT at being my BRIDESMAID'

I went to zazzle.com and made 'Team Lindsey' with my wedding date pins and gave it to them in a personalized 'will you be my bridesmaid/MOH' card that I wrote about memories of our past and why they needed to be in my party. I gave it to them at my engagement party and they wore it there... There is a pic of the pin in my albums...and I hope they wear it during all events for the remainder of the year

Zazzle.com is where I got the pins and was able to customize them with my name and everything...Let me know if you want a pic...For some reason I couldn't post it on the blog or in my album...booo

welcome and congrats! I got my girls cards from etsy that had a definition of what it meant to be a bridesmaid and gave them a picture in a frame of us together - I have pics in my album - anything you do will make them feel special :)
