I'm taking it.....
But my FH is changing his last name, he is taking his Grandparents last name since he never knew his real father and they raised him. He never liked his last name anyway.....and I am so happy that he is taking it, its a nice Italian last name, unlike my Italian last name that nobody can ever pronounce!! LOL

i was going to hypenate too....but like my budding (helenz ) i was questioning how that even sounds! and what about my kids?!.....sooooooo i know im going to take his and im ok with it but every now and again when the millionth person says how awesome my last name is (it is a very cool last name) i just look down and say not for long....its sad....women have to go through too many freakin emotional changes men just have to pop the question and show up!...lol

I'm taking his last name! I think it's important to have the same last name as husband and kids. It symbolizes family!

you are soooo right!!! I nominate Mr. Johnson to become Mr. Z!!!! lol like that would ever happen...he's way too traditional. on the plus side, Helen Johnson is the educational chair at Queens College...maybe that'll give me some pull if I ever decide to teach???
