I dont like his last name so im very hesitant on changing it- i think i may change it once we have kids but for the moment i may be keeping it - then again im a gemini and i change my mind very easily so well see

I love his because my students will be able to actually say it. My name now they shorten and call me MIss O instead because its so long

I'll be taking his, but i wish he were taking mine! his name sounds better w/ my last name than mine does with his!

You're not alone. I don't think I'm going to take his name--but it stinks b/c his last name is AWESOME!!! I just don't see why I have to give up my name. I'm proud of it, so I think I'm going to keep it. Plus he's totally fine about my keeping my own name though he agrees my first name and his last name sounds so cool

BTW, I heard once that not changing your name complicates taxes and stuff. Does anyone have info or experience with this?

I think i might keep my own for work purposes. depends on if i get licensed before i get married. it is a totally different name from my own. i will be going from german to chinese.
