Windows on the Hudson, Dobbs Ferry NY

Hey Ladies! I'm new to this site but was wondering if anyone has visited or booked Windows on the hudson? My fiancee and I saw it and basically its a demolished building thats being renovated but has great potential. Do you guys think its crazy to take a leap and put a refundable deposit on it?? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

No the way their redoing it is that they supply the food, cocktail hour, 5 hour open bar etc. all the ammenities that a wedding hall has...it's just that the new site isn't even built yet so we only have the site sketches to go by which isn't much since I actually want to see the place before committing.

I would be worried about there promised deadline. The Allegria took deposits for weddings after there reno completion date and they went way over the deadline and several couples had to scramble to find a new venue (look at KittyGags' review for more info). Trump's catering hall took deposits before they even started building, and then it all fell through, they never built it. Unless your wedding date is very far after they are scheduled to complete, I wouldn't take the chance.
