Wine bottles as favors...

I want to give wine bottles as favors...Sutter Home White Zin. I'm not sure if I should do a small bottle per person or a full bottle per couple. I'm leaning more toward the full but would like opinions.

Re: Wine bottles as favors...

I voted for a full bottle, but then I read your post. If you can offer a selection of wine, I would prefer a smaller bottle. I am a big wine drinker and while of course this is not true for 100% of the people who drink wine, my experience has been that most wine drinkers do not like white zin that much.

I went to a wedding recently and their favors were Sutter Home small bottles, but they offered a choice of merlot, white zin and chardonnay and had them displayed on a table near the exit.

So I voted for a full bottle, but I would add that I would vote for a small bottle of anything other than white zin over a full bottle of white zin.

Re: Wine bottles as favors...

I gave full bottles for favors. I got Windmill Red and Windmill White from Duckwalk Vineyard in South Hampton. I got a discounted bulk price. We wrapped them in clear cellophane and put personalized ribbons on them. They were one per couple.
