What do you girls think of this wine box? Do you think I could use it as a card box if I decorate it with glass grapes? I'm just worried about how people would put the cards in it. Would they just open and close it?
I think it's really cute...but given the scary posts lately about stolen cardboxes and stolen money, I'd be terrified to have something so easily accessible.

I think that's a great idea! People would know to open it and close it, or you can find a way to prop it open.
As a sidenote: I went to Michaels the other day and they had these great plastic grapes (both green and red) in different sizes. The bunches look great (not like tacky fake fruit lol) and they're awesome for decor. They were no more than 2 bucks a bunch. I'm attaching them to my slipper basket and my bathroom baskets. Just thought I'd let you know about them.
edited because it doesn't look like it needs to be propped open. i think it can just stay open if you're comfortable with that.

That's definitely true! I'd probably be a bit wary about that. But I was just at a wedding where the couple didn't have anything to put the cards in and they were literally falling over the table by the end of the night. No one touched them and there were hundreds!

I know see that's what I'm worried about...well I guess if we kept it on a table next to our table and we made sure that people shut it after putting the card in that would be ok?
My cousin had one of those seethrough present card boxes that literally opened from the top and anyone could see all the envelopes in it and it seemed to be fine, so I this would be ok right?

Thanks so much for the grape tip! I love this whole wine theme We are going to make our tables names of different wine instead of table #'s!

I'm sure if you enlisted the help of a trusted loved one to keep an eye at it all night, it would be fine. I think it's adorable. I just know I personally would be paranoid about it. I'm scared to death right now haha, I might just kick it old school with the purse now myself!

I love the wine theme too! It's so much fun and the options are endless! The wine table name thing is awesome!
