Wine tasting bachelorette party?
Some of my girls suggested going to East Wind for some spa treatments then going on a wine tasting limo tour. Has anyone done this? Is it fun? Any suggestions of companies that do this? Could you share how much each guest cost? Also, does bride pay for guests or they pay for themselves? Sorry for so many questions I am the first of my friends to get married so im new at all this lol! Im worried about it getting really expensive bc some of my friends arent doing that well financially right now. Thanks girls!!!

I believe East Wind and hotel Indigo have packages. I dont have pricing but it can get expensive. I Both of prices on their page. Groupon sometimes offers just wine tours.Usually the bridal party will pay for the bride and they pay their own way. Good luck!

Re: Wine tasting bachelorette party?
This can definitely get expensive, but very fun- We did it for one of my girlfriends, but rather than go through a hotel, the bridesmaids hired a limo and set up times at various wineries out east (Jamesport, Duck Walk, Martha Clara etc). This takes a very organized bridal party to plan with regard to getting limo quotes, setting up reservations at the vineyards (make sure they know you are coming with a limo or a bus so they have adequate parking)- but it was a great time and was cheaper than going through a hotel. They used the limo company the bride booked for the wedding, so that was a win-win between the discount and having a 'trial run' with the limo company. For all of the bachelorette parties we have done the girls pay for the bride (if you divide the cost of one person by 6 or 10 girls, however many it is, it does not work out to be that much more for the bridal party).
Have fun!

We have gone and it is usually 5.00 per 3 samples. I dont drink but I still had a good time. We went to Duck Walk North, Ospreys Dominion, and another one I cant remember at the moment. We brought cheese and crackers and other snacks and had a great time. The bridesmaids pay for the bride. This website can help: http://www.liwines.com/?cat=7

Re: Wine tasting bachelorette party?
I did a package deal for a Wine Tour for my bach party last year. We used LIwinetours.com and it was AWESOME!!! We stopped at 3 wineries, Bremerton Farms and a vodka distillery whose name is eluding me at the moment. We got picked up at 10am and dropped back off at 6pm. For everything including wine/vodka tastings, limo, and catered lunch at one of the vineyards (with wraps, drinks and chips) it was $125 pp. Our driver bought bottles at each stop for us to drink on the way to the next place. It was the best time, and I would highly recommend LIwinetours if you end up doing it. HTH!

ETA everyone paid for themselves. I wasn't a bridezilla about it, so if some people couldn't come, even if they were in the BP, I didn't push it, whether it was for financial or other reasons.

Re: Wine tasting bachelorette party?
i just emailed this info to a friend...i did the wineries out east with metrolimo
they pick up and drop off wherever you want
we did 4 wineries (supposed to be three but we hated one so we went to a 4th)
i believe pickup was at 10am and we got back to queens around 5pm
we added lunch to the package and i believe per person it was $110

My friends and i used them as well but didn't do it for a bachelorette party. We just did a group trip. We had the best time and we spent about $120 each. The more that go, the less it is. We all bought booze to take with us so we had something to drink between wineries and some snacks so we didnt become complete messes. I'm kinda jealous that the drive bought u bottles bc we had to buy our own. Haha.
