winter wedding

Anyone thinking of having a winter wedding? There might be a change of plan and if so we will be having a winter wedding. The only issue is that I would want to take outdoor pics as well as indoor pics but I don't want my bridal party to freeze .Any suggestions?

my brother had a winter wedding. 12/7/08.

We took 1 picture outside when we got out of the limo. Nothing more outside. It was dammmm cold with snow on the ground! haha

I know I guess I can pray for not freezing weather to get a few shots and take the rest inside. I guess a great photographer will be able to take awesome shots so it won't matter. Wishful thinking...

I'm having a winter wedding and I don't care if I'm freezing my butt off, I'm def taking pics outside....I would rather be freezing than sweating under the sun. But that's just me.

What about if you get the BP those little faux fur jackets to wear with the dresses .. take some pics with the jackets and some without... then they cant complain lol

i agree. those lil shawls are cute! and keep complaining to a minimum lol!

if you want a winter wedding, go for it! your bridal party will suck it up for u :) (i know i've had to for weddings i was in!)

Thanks ladies! I like the idea of the shawls or faux fur wraps. Hopefully everyone will be able to suck it up for a few minutes.

I love the look of the faux fur wraps, especially if it snowed. I think it would be beautiful. I love the winter (except driving in it haha), but fall is where its at for me lol.

Also if it gets too cold, just leave the heat on in the car and take shifts lol

I'm having a winter wedding but made sure to pick a location where we can take mucho gorgeous photos inside.

This past year on Feb 19th it was like 65degrees and sunny! so I can pray for that kind of weather again but I'm not holding my breath.

I was in a winter wedding at east wind and I'm not going to lie.. the bridal party (including myself and fh) did a lot of complaining about being outside. Esp with no sleeves. Plus all the photos came out shitttty because everyone including the bride was all red faced from the cold.

We are having a winter wedding, I plan on doing a few pictures outside if there's snow, but the majority of pictures will be taken inside with Christmas decorations!

Re: winter wedding

Im sure your bp will be okay with it if you dont drag pictures out for hours and hours.

do some nice ones outside, and then find inside locations to do them :)

Re: winter wedding

Definitely won't drag them out just want beautiful pictures. Thanks for all the suggestions.
