wisdom teeth extraction

Had two taken out today, I'm so miserable and uncomfortable. Thought I would come home and knock out, but of course no. What did you ladies do to pass the time when you had yours removed?

I had all 4 out at once. I slept. Those pain killers are no joke

i could start some drama on here to take ur mind off of the pain!

i had 2 impacted wisdom teeth taken on in Jan and i had a blast. i even helped the surgeon out lmao. i cant wait to get the other 2 taken out!! im sick.

OMG I feel your pain! Mine were extremely impacted - I had one removed with just Novocain, then had to go back a few months later and had my other 3 yanked. There were so impacted they gave me an IV cocktail and laughing gas and I had a blast! I literally laughed the entire time! When I came to, I learned they had to drill deep into my jaw, and because one tooth was so impacted they couldn't reach it they had to slice the corner of my lip to open my mouth wider - yuck! Still have a scar. Well, within an hour, I felt the pain, BAD! I lived on slimfast for a week and all they gave my was prescription advil so I was pretty miserable! I think I watched a lot of tv, and cursed a lot! ;) Eat cold things, it helps the pain. You should start feeling better soon.

Barbs, you crack me up. You are my entertainment on here. I got two out also,going by later this year. It only took them like 15 minutes but I almost freaked out afterwards.

Rachel, omg, thank god you were so drugged up during the procedure you didn't know they did all of those things.

Christine, I'm way ahead of yah. FH bought me a bunch of books and dvd's to keep me entertained and he said he's going to visit a lot this weekend.
