Wisdom teeth question...Please help!!

Re: Wisdom teeth question...Please help!!

I got mine done, and I had the best doctor EVER!! His name is Dr. Schenider and he is located in both St James/Smithtown area and Holbrook. I woke up from the anesthia and I went home and ate a sandwich. NO PAIN! And I am not too good with pain. I didnt swell or get black and blue either. Once you get it done, you will be sore and the stiches will be annoying cause you cant open your mouth all the way to eat. Just make sure you keep is clean and use lots of mouthwash. Also, use frozen peas on your face to keep the swelling down. They mold to your face better than ice.

I need mine out too but I am a baby when it comes to the dentist so I am going to wait until they hurt me. But my sister got all 4 out at once and she came home and ate scrambled eggs. And the next day she just took Tylenol.

Mine were impacted so it was a problem. When I was in highschool I had the top pulled out one summer and the bottem pulled out the next. I had real problems with mine- I didn't get out of bed for a couple of days I was in so much pain. I was swollen for at least a month.

I had all four pulled in one shot ... I didn't feel a thing until the next day, but then they had given me some pain killers so it wasn't too, too bad. I would do all four if I were you - get it done and over with.

I got 2 pulled out at one time, and now need to do the remaining 2, I wish I had done all 4 at once though! I dont suggest being awake during the procedure, thats how I did it and I would never do that again! I was fine the next day though just a little swelling.
