they're out...yay! How long do I have to keep this stupid gauze in. It's still bleeding but the gauze being so far in the back of my mouth is making me so nauseous, well that and the tylenol with codeine.

When I had mine pulled they gave me percoset The gauze is what made me nauseous!!!!! I would gag on it!!!!!!!

I actually asked for percoset and he said it's even rougher than vicodin!

I had vicodin...which put me in sleepy lala land! I only had to keep the gauze in for a few hrs, but I couldn't brush my teeth for 2 days I hated it!

I had to have 3 wisdom teeth and 4 other teeth pulled at once. I was a bloody mess for awhile, esp since I refused general. I don't remember keeping the gauze in for endless hours though. I thought it was until the bleeding stopped. at most, few hours. Any questions, call the dr on the emergency line.

I had 3 wisdom teeth pulled at once....that night i was eating chicken lol.
I had the 4th one pulled about 2 years prior and that was so much more painful.
go figure!
wait till it stops bleeding, I don't know if this is good advice but I bit on the gauze pad to add pressure and it stopped in a few hours.

I kept mine in for about 10 hours I would say.. I had mine pulled at about 10am and then I took it out that night. Sorry you are nauseous!! I'm glad it's over and I hope you start feeling better soon

now that it's over, it wasn't so bad! But if you're dentists says you don't need them out, leave them in! Mine had to come out
