I finally got the FH to take a morning off of work and come with me to see the rest of the halls on our list. We are seeing Swan Club, Fox Hollow, Westbury Manor & Stewart Manor CC.

Updated:

Saw all the halls on Saturday and probably bumped into a few LIW brides while I was at it.
But now i am more confused then ever. Swan Club had fabulous grounds but the room was not to my taste. Fox Hollow's Winter Garden Room is gorgeous but there are no grounds and lots of stairs to climb. Westbury Manor has beautiful grounds with ducks and parrots and peacocks...but the room was not really to my taste and the price was the highest of all the places we saw... and Stewart Manor we elimated since we did not like it.

What Do I Do??? I am so confused.

If you are not sure keep looking. But I agree, you should make a list of things that are the most important to you as far as RH is concerned. Best of Luck!

sounds like a compromise may be in order- beauty of place with a room that you can deal with or a nicer room with higher price- tough decision but i guess you need to figure out which is the most imp't - grounds, room or price- good luck

I say keep looking. We looked at 30 RH's We had a hard time because we have a very small minimum. We never got the OMG this is the place feeling, every hall had a few things we liked and a few things we didn't. Toward the end we picked our top 3 places and made a pro/con list for each to see which would be best for us overall. Leonard's won due to price, location, and having a beautiful room for a small party and now we couldn't be happier with our decision.

check out other places. I love Jericho Terrace but then again I'm bias Their grounds are limited but still beautiful!

Thanks for all the advice ladies.
I am def. going to do the pro/con list and keep looking. however there are not many more choices left. i am trying to stay as close to queens as possible since that is where the church will most likely be and all we have a small guest list for a saturday evening.

Most places I called wanted a high minimum and we just dont have the money or people to fill it.

there are only 2 places on my list which we have not yet seen...then we def. have to make a decision
