Hi, I am throwing and shower and we will have a wishing well. I read that WISHING WELL should not be written on the invitation. How else will i notify guests that there will be one? What have you guys done? Thanks!

Re: Wishing Well
I know that they wrote it on my shower invite. As a matter of fact, I've seen it on almost all the shower invites I have gotten.
My sister actually did something different -- she made a little card that she put in the invitation that said for the wishing well, everyone had to bring something that started wtih the same letter as their first name -- people had fun with that.

Re: Wishing Well
Hmmm.. I have seen it written on the invite quite a few times.
How else will people know to bring toilet paper and dish soap?

Re: Wishing Well
It was written on mine and I've seen it written on others too. I would go ahead and write it.

Re: Wishing Well
It was written on my invitation as well as on those of my friends. Nothing wrong with writing it...and then you can end up with 5 vegetable peelers, 6 sets of measuirng spoons and 4 ice cream scoops!

Re: Wishing Well
I would write it on the invite. In fact, when I don't see it on the invitation I assume they aren't having one.
