I honestly don't have any embarassing stories about my self...but one of my good friends got her period for the first time in 6th grade and didn't know it...she was wearing white pants too. All the kids made fun of her for a while

If you ever used a tampon you know there is a thing called TSS. Well my biggest fear was what happens if the string/cord breaks. Well guess what ladies it did . it happened to me and I went through the whole day at work feeling sick to my stomach and had to ggo to the er cause there was no cord to remove the dam thing. went to LIJ they told me I had to wait about an hour before I can be seen this is after going all day with it in. then I go to Booth (I live in Queens) one two three out it comes the nursees were laughing. It was funny but embarrasing at the same time. I was wearing ashort skirt and had to go home with no stockings or anything i felt so gross after.

YUCK! I was always SO paranoid about anything embarassing happenning, that I was ALWAYS prepared! I always wear a pad like at leasya day or 2 before I expect AF to come, just in case!

I got a good one.

A few years back I was at work and my period was not anywhere near due...and usually on my first day it is very light so if i didn't have any protection it usually is not too big of an issue.

I get to work at 9am and i am busy at my desk all morning with this project. I was wearing a tan skirt. Anyway around 11ish i go to the bathroom and then i see it....all over the place down my skirt...i am not talking a spot it was all over the place...i actually got scared that somethign was wrong with me and it was not my period. I call up my boyfriend (DH now) who worked nearby (i was in NYC) and he offered to go buy me clothes..i was crying hystericlaly so i finally went to the office manager - nice older lady and showed her the problem....she was like here is a sweater and then she tied it around my waist and safty pinned it in place, gave me a tampon and told me to go home....

I WAS MORTIFIED...people at work asked me the next day how i was feeling and i didn't knwo if they knew or were told i went home sick.....

Only time in my 14 years of having this darn thing something like that happened.....

As a side note, a month later i am wearing the same skirt (which got totally cleaned believe it or not) and i don' have my period at this point. SOme lady comes up to me in the subway and is like you have a big spot on the back of your skirt and i was like oh thank you and she gives me this look like you better go home and change....so i'm like holding my bag behind my back waiting to get to work....i could not see anything.......so i get to work and its a little black pen mark...she made it seem like it was my period...i was so mad...

On one of our first dates my now FI took me to a late movie... in the middle of the movie I felt something weird going on and got up to use the bathroom. Aunt flo was no where near do but of course she decided to make an early arrival

anyway the tapon/pad thing was EMPTY so since the movie was almost over and my period had just started and was super light I put a TUN of tp in my pants and figured I would be fine.

Well as soon as the movie was over I jumped out of my seat and ran for the car... FH and I hardly knew eachother and I was not about to admit what just happened..so he drove me home.. and started yapping .. going on and on.. and I was trying to be as polite as possible about having to go inside since it was so late... when I finally was able to get out of the car I looked at my seat to make sure nothing happened and it looked fine.

The next day he called me to tell me I had left him a present on the seat of his brand new bmw. I was soooo embarassed but he was suprisingly ok and joked around about it. I was so horrified I didnt call him for days
