So is anyone else stuck at work today? Since I work in IT and for a corp office of a well known health club, my group (about 4 of us) have to be in today...even though we are out by 3pm...
FH is also working (he works in TV) but he gets out by 11am...
Oh well, only good thing is while the phones are DEAD I can get some stuff done on computer....
and chat on LIW...

you must be getting holiday pay though....that always helped me at my last job to get through working on new years day or any other holiday since i was getting paid double

aw i am sorry. i know how that feels. this is the only holiday i have off this year. i work in assisted living so i will be in christmas eve, christmas, etc...

I worked today from 3- 11pm...... got home at 12am..... it s u c k s....... but double time and a half isn't bad after all!

I had to work. Wed night, and thursday night, i rather work on thanksgiving then christmas, but thats what happens working in the hospital.

my sister said yesterday that she heard on the radio that only 30% of americans will sit down to a traditional thanksgiving dinner
or did...since it was yesterday. i dont know where they get their info from but that seemed super low to me!
