so is anyone else feel worried about picking a vendor? the photographer is sooo important to me (as i know it is to almost every bride!) that i'm a little nervous to pick one b/c i want to just looove their work and feel confident the pics will be beautiful. i don't have any appointments set up just yet b/c FH's schedule is so busy i need get his whole work, grad school, & coaching schedules before i can make any appointments
if you booked your photographer already can you tell me what it was that made you pick them?
when you were shopping around for photographers did you look at a photographer's work and just know immediately whether you like them or not? TIA!

take your time looking at their work before booking meetings. i wound up only meeting with 2 photographers before making my final decision since i had done most of the legwork before.
there's one other that does really edgy stuff, but i can't think of his name...another LIW bride (i think an '09 girl) used him so i need to search through the reviews

he was the first vendor FH and I knew we wanted, even before the venue!
We just happened upon his blog and then searched for reviews and knew we wanted him!

Erica Lynn looks good, but the website froze up my computer! Def not good at work!!! I'll have to wait until I get home to really look, but the photo's look good from the home page.

Photography is extremely important to me. It was a nerve racking process choosing one .We did an extensive search on here. It's when you see them in person that's when you start the elimination process. It's also all in the vibe with the photographer I think. I learned that I tend to prefer small companies than big production places who will assign you whichever photog available for the day.
