The most anticlimactic ending in history...such a disappointment...and if there is a movie I WIL NOT go to see it.

yes but we had no idea at all what COULD have happened. it wasnt like we saw a bomb or a guy witha gun, nothing... it just ended that yes something prob happened but we dont even have a clue as to what

some fan forums are saying they think that last second was what we were seeing thru tony's eyes, that when meadow came in he was probably killed--and that's why the screen went black.....we were seeing what tony would see.

i dunno if i believe that--and i get they had all kinds of symbolism and stuff, but i HATE when they do that with finales. ppl don't want all that ---they want to see things plain and simple. i'm beyond disappointed.

1. that the 2 guys were there to do damage and waited for meadow OR
2. they were regular patrons but it showed how nervous tony got everytime the door opened and the bells rang and that every day of his life he is looking over his shoulders

bottom line.. you dont string us along for 5 years (exaggerating!! - actually im not! ) for 2 seasons to show us CRAP like that...

nothing happened! makes me so mad

i would only beleive that if they were doing that throughout the episode or during that seen. they didnt make it seem like we were watching through his eyes so i wouldnt believe that for the ending.. some people get too deap

See my whole thing is this...

The men in the diner....going to kill the family or just showing how Tony will always be watching his back? Noone knows.

Sil dies? Noone knows.

The f**king cat- Chris reincarnated, Tony's conscience, or is he just looking after them? Noone knows.

Tony gets indicted or they run? Nooone knows

Come on...after 8 years NO questions are answered. We all have our suspicions but I need actual answers!

I hope its #1 b/c #2 is just a given...if you are in the mob...you are always looking over your shoulder...we didnt need the writers of the sopranos to tell us that...i am still bitter about the episode...ahahaha

they were at a diner and it just went black. almost to make you think your cable went out. it was out for a while then the credit started.

My FH & I actually changed the channel to see if the TV stopped working or if the cable went out....any my parents did the same thing with their TV!


So disappointing.....

no, i think that writers are artists and they like to make people think and leave things to your own interpretation - i dont think they want to just give you all the info

no offense to you at all i understand what youa re saying..

but if that is true.... then they suck because PEOPLE dont want to deal with interpretation, this show was never about interpretation, and people want all the info. and after waiting episode after episode for something to happen they owed us!

I would feel differently if for the last 2 seasons things actually happened and loose ends got tied up, but it didnt, now the viewers anticipated big things and we got crap. the bootom line, the writers ran out of marterial!

Ok, I'm probably a big dork...but I think it wouldn't have done the show justice if they would have tied everything up (there were so many story lines going on in the show at the same time) and make a cookie cutter ending.

I kinda figured it was all going to be left up in the air considering they only had 1 hour to bring an entires series to an end.
