Hi girls,
Well, my wedding is over and everything went perfectly..no bumps at all - but my pics were a nightmare. not only were the formals not that good, but my photographer was mia for most of my reception. I have like 30 proofs from the reception, and of the 200 people (friends and extended family) the only people i have pics of are my immediate family and his immediate family which consists of 20 people. I am soo miserable I can't tell you. I just wanted to tell you guys to be sooo careful when picking your photographer...the day goes by so fast that i wish i had pictures to capture it. It's just so upsetting......

Heygirls, I met with the manager today and he didn't argue that my pictures weren't what we were promised. We have to speak with the owner next week about monetary compensation. The manager said they may be able to take stills from the video...i hope they get good shots from that...that would be somewhat satisfying. Thanks for all of your support girls, the manager was very sympathetic, so hopefully things go well with the owner next week and we can get at least some shots of our reception, and money back.

So I haven't met with the owner yet. They told me that they are out of town until next week, but I can have an appointment then. I am praying !!! things go well. I got a few nice pictures from some of my friends...so that's nice....just hope the meeting goes well. I just want to be done with this already.....Thanks for listening...hope you are all well ( :

That's a great idea..the videographer got alot of good footage....i'll look into it. thanks!

I am so sorry to hear that you are living most bride's worst nightmare!!!

I wish you luck tomorrow, and hope you can at least get some money back, even though I know that won't make up for the lack of pictures!

I think I would be ready to kill. Read your contract and note where it says how many proofs you should get with your package. I would take a binder and have ALL the Better Business Bureau on the front page when you sit down to talk with them so they see what your intentions are!

I'm sure this sounds weird, but if they are uncooperative at your meeting, I'd really consider calling one of those news stations and trying to get on those segments they have like '7 on your side' or 'help me howard.' I watch too much TV.

Also, alert LIW since the photographer is one of their vendors. If this is the horrible service they offer, I'm sure Ron & Liz will want to know.

Good luck tomorrow. I can't even imagine! The photography is the one thing we are investing a lot of money in because it is so important to us... It definitely makes us open our eyes... Who knows what's out there!!!

good luck tomorrow! besides getting a refund u should also have them take an additional picture shoot for u for free.

i'd def check into having your video made into pix, that sounds like a great idea!

(p.s. tomorrows st. patty's day, i'm sure you'll have lot's of luck!)

Hey girls,
How many proofs were you promised from your photographer. I only got 300 for a time period of 4pm to 1am. it's not specified in my contract....thanks!

That is unbelievable...you should get a significant portion of your money back (I would say at least half at a minimum)....there is no way to recreat the pics and the photographer's job is to be wherever you are...not MIA...

I would post all over this website about them to save other girls!

We are promised a minimum of 600 proofs - we booked with Duet.

Good luck tomorrow and you might even want to bring a tape recorder with you - place it right on the desk in plain sight - that will freak them out and show them how serious you are.
