Would it be tacky to have a Bridal Shower as a BBQ in a backyard and invite the boys too??

I don't want a traditional bridal shower. I want my FH to be there with me and I want it to be more of a party rather than a Sunday brunch with the ladies. Since my hunny and I are paying for the wedding, we want to save some money and are thinking about possibly having it at my sisters house in her backyard. What do you guys think?? Tacky or go for it??

I think that is a great idea !!!!!! I don't want my bridal party spending lots of money either !!!!!!! So I think that the whole backyard shower is a great idea !!!!!!!!!!!! I have to bring it up one day about mine too !!!!!!!!!

Not tacky at all, I think you need to do what makes you happy, and having guys there too doing a BBQ, if that's whats going to make you happy and enjoy the day more, then definitely go for it!!!
