Hey guys--SO here is the situation (sorry it's sooo long!)
I was driving past a certain bridal place and saw a gorgeous dress in the window. Since my wedding is two years away, I only went in to get the name of the designer to put it in my 'book.'
When I went in, the girl suggested I try the dress on (which of course I did and LOVED it) Then the girl said that it was hand-beaded and would take up to a year and a half to come in. She Also said that the dress was a davinci dress. When I looked at the label, it said a lila couture dress, so right there I was a little confused but didn't say anything. The sales girl was all about the pressure and suggested that I order it in the next few weeks to make sure I had plenty of time.
So when I went home I looked up lila couture and found out that the dress takes 12 weeks to get into the store AT the MOST (something which was confirmed when I e-mailed the distributor)
So all in all--this would totally make you not want to deal with this particular bridal salon, right? Or should I just disregard it ?

Sneaky Sneaky do not go back...Infact, can you FM me with the name of the place, so I dont even waste my time? i hate pushy salespeople. Dont worry, if thats the dress you want, you can find it somewhere else.

when you go to the site...do you see the dress?? if so keep the style # and go to a salon that has a better rep and ask them for a price quote and ask how long it will take for the dress to come in! I personally hated when sales ppl said that stuff to me and when they did thats when i walked out and didnt go back!

I would not deal with them. I would find another store that has it.

They were pressuring you for a sale NOW. Don't fall for it...especially if she told you teh wrong designer as well.
