noooooooooooo im afraid of debt....

i cant even pay my credit card bill unless i pay it in FULL every month

ive seen too many family members get into trouble w/debt...

No, why be in debt. You don't have to have anything you read on the boards. You can always have a big 20, 25 etc anniversary party.

If youre a couple of grand away from your dream wedding I would say go for it... I mean if you can get there just by saving then thats what is best to do, but if you cant and need to take it out to make ur day better in your own mind than do it and pay it off as soon as u can...

to pay a loan you will get approved at a certain percentage rate and they tack on interest ontop of the loan amount so you will be paying more than what you initially take out. you will get billed monthly for payments.

although it may sound like a good idea now...i think when you're wedding is over and you still have months of payments left you will be like 'ugh why did i do that? my wedding os over and i'm STILL paying for it'

if you are strapped for cash i would either prolong the wedding..take 2nd jobs...or cut major corners

no, thats why we are waiting this long to get married. we have been saving every penny we can to make sure you do not have to borrow any money. our whole engagement it going to be over 2 and a half years.

no def not...we are gonna be saving as much as we can so we can pay for everything we want without going into debt...that means no loans or putting things on credit cards..
