A couple of cutting boards (remember the knives, you're also very anal in the kitchen and feel that chicken should be prepared on different surfaces than all other meats, and that really you should have an additional board for vegetables too)

A pair of pants and a shirt

A new toothbrush

some Body Shop face wash, protector, shave cream, etc - a men's gift pack

That's what I wanted to hear! See, I haven't really gotten the knife, the cutting boards or the pair of pants and shirt yet. I'm wondering if I can leave them out...if I'm going overboard if I include them. The knife and the cutting boards just came up in conversation recently, so I feel like I should get them, although that means he doesn't get any clothes...maybe my question should be would you rather have a bread knife and two spankin' new cutting boards or a pair of pants and shirt for work.

Personally, I'd just be happy with the Ipod, but, well, judging from what's under the tree, he's gotten more for me than I have for him, although the Ipod was more expensive than my coat (which were the big gifts we were giving one another) He doesn't know about the Ipod...he had mentioned it in passing once a while ago, and I dont' think he'd suspect that I would buy it for him..

I'd be at the supermarket getting the Divorce kit if someone gave me the Scissors Sisters ... but that's just me

WHAT!? I totally thought you'd be into them, what with your, ahem, alternative salon requisites and all!

It hink I am jsut gettign an Ipod ( mini) & I am prefectly happy with that. They are EXPENSIVE!

So far all I have for him is the un-extended LOTR dvds. Just the 3rd one, not the box set, he has the others.
