if your cousin got engaged after you and planned her wedding a month before yours?
everyone is expecting me to be upset but i dont care that much. would you care?

Not me.. My cousin got engaged just a month ago, and is getting married in February. My grandmother surprisingly enough is outraged that she didn't wait until after us, but she's never wanted a long engagement. To each their own.. as long as it wasn't the day before our wedding, I could really care less.. I love a wedding anytime!

I agree. If you have a lot of family coming in from out of town, they may decide to come in for 1 wedding & not the other.
Also her shower will probably be first.
Like someone else said, I'd keep your personal touches to yourself.

I wouldn't be mad, but I have to admit I would be alittle bit bummed. We have friends who are getting married 8 months before us and got engaged after us and it kinda stinks to see them go through all the fun stuff first. I don't know how to explain it... I guess you could call me a bridezilla!
Everyone that we know that has gotten engaged after us, is getting married before us. I know the feeling oh so well!

I don 't think I would be mad unless they used the same vendors as I did then I would be mad also if they had the same attendants as I had and same out of town guest then yes

def keep your ideas to yourself. i always suggest things to my sis, she says she does not like the idea, and then a few months later adopts my idea and swears she came up with it! now i preface all my ideas with, 'and let the record show,....'

MY FH and I dated for 3 years and 8 months before getting engaged. His sister and her fiancee dated for 2 and a half years and got engaged mid June of this year. I got engaged last week. FH sister is getting married July 2006, would itbe horrible if I got married before her???
