OMG he totally did this to me. i was a little pissed at first b/c we discussed going and he went while I was away and suprised me when I came back home. In the end, it's his body so he can do whatever he wants with it - as long as he's not tattooing his face ![]()

he has always said to me he wanted a tattoo but never really talked about what he wanted to get. I went last week to visit his SIL and she said ' so what do you think of Bryans tattoo?'
I was like 'whaaat?'
I think i was more annoyed that he showed other people first and I had to find out from someone else then the fact that he got it without telling me.

FH and I were JUST having this conversation. He wants to get a tatoo and I told him I would disown him if he tatoos his face!

I would be kinda annoyed UNLESS it was meant to be a suprise. FH for example says he will get my name in Korean after we get married. I would be surprised/turned on if he showed up with it one day!!
But if it was a random tattoo and something we haven't talked about, yes, it would bother me. Maybe irrational but I'd be bummed that he didn't share something he was excited about, thinking of getting, etc.

I agree with what most of the other girls said. I would not care in the least about the tattoo itself (both FH and I love and have tattoos) .
I would be hurt/pissed/upset if he didn't tell me. Our relationship is partially built on sharing experiences together and we are excited to both include each other in whatever we do! Wether it's getting a tattoo or something as simple as talking about how our day was.. we share details daily.. He is my best friend and soulmate! I cannot imagine if we didn't share all these moments together & I know a situation like this would not arise between us. My feeling is that a huge point of sharing your life with someone and marrying them is to do just that... and share your lives!

i really wouldn't care, but my fiance consults with me about EVERYTHING and i highly doubt we'd ever be in that situation.

Ummm yea, I'd be livid. First off, I don't care what anyone says, that is 100% the type of thing u should discuss together! Yea, it's his body abd everything, but you're the one that has to look at him! I know FH would be furious if I went out and got One without talking to him about it at length! We like to make decisions together and aside from the fact that my FH is not a tattoo guy, I would just be furious if a decision that major and that permanent was made without us sitting down and discussing it!
