OMG it looks like a wedding dress for a mature older bride! Sooo in appropriate! She should be wearing anything other than white! Even black is better than white!!! That's pretty bad, lol (sorry, I can't help laughing)!

Its ok, I'm laughing too even tho I am pissed...FH went there and was asking what color it was and she keeps saying the color is champagne!!!!!! LOL

There is no comparison b/w a wedding dress and the dress in the picture...why stress yourself out by being mad about the whole thing?

I agree--yes it is ok to be annoyed but my whole outlook on this wedding planning and process is not to stress over the little things and make problems...

It is YOUR day and your dress is going to outbeat hers by a trillion...no one will take that away from you....you will be the star...

good luck and believe me i see why you are annoyed but try not to let it stress you out...you dont need anymore stress

She can wear white, I wouldn't care...
IMO, it's just not something to get upset over.
I'd be more upset if she looked trampy...

shame on her.

i do NOT think u are overreacting. i'd be equally p.o.'d

unless u're ready to say something to her about how completely inappropriate and obviously disrespectful her choice of color is, u can at least take comfort in knowing that there will be people at your wedding who are LAUGHING at how blatantly competitive and absurd she is being.

she just looks silly and insecure. what other explanation is there for it?

I would tell her that you are insulted and its proper ettiquette for guests NOT to wear any shade of white. If you don't feel comfortable saying it, I would ask your FH to mention it or drop the hint or a good friend say OMG...you ordered it in white!

Only the bride should be in white.
If it was my FMIL...I would call the store and tell them to change the color...

I would and FH would too. That is just wrong. JMO

You are totally right to be pissed. It is a completely inappropriate dress for her to wear. If it were me, I would have my FH tell her that she can't wear that to the wedding and if he wouldn't I would. So wrong!
