Someone bought you a birthday present off of your wedding registry? My FSIL bought me my flatware for my birthday. I was confused. And it's not like she doesn't know me well enough to know what to get me. I just think that's weird.

Re: Would you be offended if...
I would not be upset. I have brought my friends gifts off of their registery for their B-days, Xmas, etc. I would hope that they would do the same for me.

nah, not at all. it's something they know you really want and will be able to use.

No I wouldn't be offended. I got a lot of registry stuff for christmas and my birthday. At least I didn't have to return anything.

I would not be offended since the person was thoughtful enough to get you what you wanted regardless if it was for your wedding or another occasion.

Re: Would you be offended if...
No way!!! I actually told my friends/family that I had registered and if any occasion came up where they felt they wanted to buy me a gift (birthday, Christmas, etc.) to feel free to buy it off the registry. There's no way that you get all your registry stuff from the shower...so why not take advantage of other gift-giving holidays???
I think it's thoughtful. I wouldn't be offended at all.
