Ok, so upon mutual agreement one of my BM's is no longer in the BP. She already got her dress but was being a complete biatch and I haven't spoken to her in months! Anyhoo, she emails me that she'll be in town this weekend and says 'I definitely won't be getting my own wedding stuff at David's Bridal, so you can have the dress back and use the credit'. Is it me or was that a bit bitchy? What is she above David's or something??? This is the same BM that told me a few months ago when she got engaged that she 'wants something different than JT because her guests need something better'. What the F***?

ETA: She just emailed me that she would still like an invite since she got the STD! What do I do???? I know she only wants to come so she can compare and try to top me next year at her wedding!

ETA AGAIN: So she calls me today and leaves me a message that she's been in town for the last few days and is leaving tomorrow morning so she wants to come by and drop off the BM dress because she 'really wants to get rid of it'. I hate this biatch!

She seems like a complete idiot for even contacting you after what she said months ago. Do not even reply to her e-mail and DO NOT invite her.

I have a FSIL like her - always comparing her stuff to everyone else's and in general being a biatch. We did NOT invite her and although it caused some drama in FH's family he did not back down and she is not coming

I would ask her why does she even want an invite when it's clear that JT is not good enough for her.

I don't think I have it in me to be nasty like that. I kind of just want the whole situation to end! I was so relieved when we finally agreed that she would no longer be in the BP...and now this bull$hit. It's making me tense again...

Do not send her an invitation. Tell her you sent one out and pretend that it got lost in the mail. Then tell her you don't have any extra invitations. I would not be friends with her. She has an attitude problem!

You don't have to be all rude and nasty (if you don't want to)
You can just politely say that you two have gone your own ways and that you will no longer be inviting her to your wedding and you won't expect to be invited to hers.. say no harm feelings ... lets go our separate ways

and saying that in an email is easier!

If she definitly said those things, I'm sorry but I wouldn't invite her to the wedding! That's just effed up beyond belief, and I could never imagine someone who cared about me saying anything like that! Don't give her the satisfaction! For whatever reason, she feels the need to out do you, and do you really want to hear about it? Don't invite her and keep her guessing about how wonderful your wedding day was!

while this horrible person totally deserves a comback like this one, I have found that ignoring all forms of communication attempts on her part is MUCH more effective, because you will leave her hanging. Don't invite her, don't call her. Just let her be alone. I would also tell any friends that you have in common to not discuss any of your wedding plans with this girl. Excise her from your life as you would a gangrenous appendige. That is what she is.

I for one happen to LOVE JT. As far as David Bridal, she is just trying to find a reason to be mean. Some people are just plain mean. Let her take the dress back to get the credit. Do NOT do it for her. If you two are on really bad terms, like it seems to be DO NOT invite her to the wedding. It *****, but sometimes you just have to rid your life of people who make you upset. Especially during the time of your life that you are supposed to be happiest.

No I got the dress back. I called David's and they said that I can return it and get a store credit. Which is fine because I can use it towards my FG dress and maybe my slip.
