Would you be offended or am I just PMS'ing??? EDITED: CRAZY BM JUST EMAILED ME AGAIN! AND SHE CALLED ME TODAY!!!

Original post by EJSD2006

Ok, so upon mutual agreement one of my BM's is no longer in the BP. She already got her dress but was being a complete biatch and I haven't spoken to her in months! Anyhoo, she emails me that she'll be in town this weekend and says 'I definitely won't be getting my own wedding stuff at David's Bridal, so you can have the dress back and use the credit'. Is it me or was that a bit bitchy? What is she above David's or something??? This is the same BM that told me a few months ago when she got engaged that she 'wants something different than JT because her guests need something better'. What the F***?

ETA: She just emailed me that she would still like an invite since she got the STD! What do I do???? I know she only wants to come so she can compare and try to top me next year at her wedding!

ETA AGAIN: So she calls me today and leaves me a message that she's been in town for the last few days and is leaving tomorrow morning so she wants to come by and drop off the BM dress because she 'really wants to get rid of it'. I hate this biatch!

I'd be offended! Is she engaged? I can't imagine why people feel the need to be so high & mighty all the time! Listen, when she gets married, let's see what she chooses. It's a whole new ball game once you plan a wedding. You came out the bigger person here. I hope the rest of your planning is smooth sailing!

Oh, & I'm also getting married at JT. There's nothing wrong with it. I feel sorry for her. She's got her priorities all wrong!!!!

The 'green eyes monster' lurks again! I think that she's envious and she's trying to outdo you. Better she do it now than later. and better that you know who your true friends are

I would be offended, but I wouldn't waste my time on her. It's not worth it.

I would be hurt by her comments because it seems like she is meaning them to be snotty-she doesn't sound like a very nice friend. Like someone else said, I would take the store credit - but some nice accessories for yourself and blow her off - you don't need people like that around.

She is just trying to be a jerk.... Whatever! Please, you dont need a crazy expensive dress to look beautiful.... no matter what she has on with that personality she is going to look BUSTED!!!

I would tell that BIATCH to go F*CK herself and I wouldn't even invite her to the wedding. I'm sorry, but that is such a nasty thing to say. Tell her, since your hall and your dresses aren't good enough for her, don't bother coming.

I agree! She is not a true friend and seems jealous, I say F*** her!!!

You don't need people like that in your life because their just miserable and misery loves company.

I totally agree! That was definitely rude of her and she obviously knew what she was saying would upset you. Don't let it get to you because that is what she wants, take the credit, and never speak to her again. You do not need people like that in your life!!!

I'd be annoyed about it. I think it's good she's not in the wedding!

Screw her, and don't invite her either. It sounds like all she would do at your wedding is complain about everything and how she will do hers better, so who needs that??

And is she even engaged? Because if she isn't, she needs to get out of dreamland!! No one is going to marry her with that attitude!!

I totally agree. There was no reason for her to put any of your vendors down. She said those things to be hurtful. You definitely don't need a friend like that.

She's CLEARLY trying to upset you IMO, so because of that I have to say just let it roll...and be happy you won't have her biatchy face in your pics.

Doesn't sound so nice...isn't this suppose to be a happy time in our lives, why do people like to be difficult!! Even if she had another place in mind for her dress, she could get other things at David's bridal with the credit!! Well, at least you don't have to worry about her in your party anymore! Sorry that she is putting a damper on this special time in your life!

I would be sooo pissed. She may just be jealous that you are getting married first.

Say thanks biatch, return the dress and use the credit towards your other bm's so at least someone can appreciate her (being that she is making it very hard to do)

I would definitely be offended, and in all honesty don't think I'd waste my money on a dinner for her or an invite. It's supposed to be a day about you and your FH and surrounded by everyone you LOVE --- clearly she has issues...

If it was me, I would send an email back that says something to the effect of:

'Dear Former BM;
I was so surprised to receive your email regarding an invite to my wedding. I naturally thought that since JT wasn't good enough for your guests it wasn't good enough for you either. Therefore, I decided to invite someone who would truly understand the meaning of a wedding and not use my day as a checklist for her own.'
