if we had a shared budget yes. but if you have not combined finances and the car payment will not take away from your wedding/house/life budgets then no, well yes I would but I dont think I should be.

I think I have to ask this question, would he be pissed if you bought the car without telling him?
BTW - I would be pissed we're not just boyfriend - girlfriend, we're getting married and we should be talking over big purchases.

ita! buying a car is not like buying a shirt. I wouldn't have a big fight about it but I'd def have a serious talk about communication

Ummm yes. Big purchases like that should absolutely be discussed first. You should both be saving up for your wedding/lives together.

Pissed? No. Livid? Yes.
My fiance is scared to even tell me he stepped onto a car lot... let alone buy one!
lol last week FH told me he went to Subaru, but didn't get to that point until he said 'Paul and I went to look around, we're not buying anything, we are just looking and leaving... but we are at Subaru.' I asked him about cargo space and I could hear him just cowering over the phone like he did something wrong.
I hope your fiance didn't buy a car and not tell you.... that's a BIG financial no no.

Re: Would you be pissed...
I would be concerned, since in our relationship we have an agreement that we discuss together before making any large purchases.
