if one of your BM randomly said 'I hate weddings' and 'Shower presents aren't even good presents.'



I don't care enough to be pissed, but I never talk about my wedding unless it's brought up...so I thought it was a random thing to say.

One of my BM said something similar. When she realized it upset me she apologied and took it back. She has actually been a really good BM. I think sometimes people say things that they dont really mean without thinking.

My MOH told me that constantly... and she also told me many times how the whole institution of marriage is stupid and I'm a fool to go through with it. Then again she was the worst MOH ever.

i doubt she meant anything major by it. youre having both so she just needs to deal. maybe she is in a pissy mood and is just being difficult. i know my MOH hates showers (in general, baby and wedding) but she is going along with it for mine. she asked if she could put 'please kindly wrap all gifts in clear cellophane' on the shower invitation... hahaha.
