WOuld you do it?

I found a wholesale site for favors. Would it look I guess tacky if you make or put together wedding favors. What I saw it a shot glass for a votive candle. I would buy the candles. Then Il would get a ribbon. Any help will be appreciated.

GO FOR IT!!! That's not tacky at all!!! The best favors are the ones you make yourselves!!! Have fun doing it and enlist your BP to help!

IMO, yes....only because I've been to a wedding where they did this (shot glass and votive)...I left feeling like they cheaped out on the favors - you could find something so much nicer for the same amount of money.

I know someone who got personalized M&M's and wrapped them up pretty...that was really cute and not so expensive.

What favors are you thinking about doing?

Have you been to a store called wrap with us? They have a whole bunch of favors. They also have a website.

I did shot glasses with red hots wrapped in tulle inside. I certainly hope people didn't think we gave them 'cheap' favors because the weren't.

I actually only have my sample one here and it's a little beat up. My Mom still has all my left overs.

But here it is (just took these now.)

We gave one to each guest

I know they were too big. I can't resize them at home so I created an ofoto album. Here you go:

hmm..strange. I can email you the pictures. They really came out nice and people liked them, or at least that's what they told me!!

I think it would be great. Personally I would be upset if my guests were only coming for the favors.

I put together my own favors. Got the coffee scoop, cut the tulle, got a few different candies, had the ribbon printed and assembled it myself! I wouldn't have it any other way!

I think thats a great idea, not tacky at all.
