Would you/ Do you....

Wear jewlrey from an ex??
My friend's girlfriend loves a (really expensive Tiffany's) ring she got from her ex and won't give it up, even though she's been with my friend for a year now!
I say, pawn it and go on vacation! It's just wrong!
PS- My ex jewlery was all given away to friends

NO! I think it's kind of bad luck!

My ex from college was in the same metalsmithing program as I was and he made me a ring which I still have. After we broke up, we ended up at the same graduate school and I bought a ring he made because it was such a great design.

I still have both, but don't wear them much mostly because I don't wear rings too often and when I do it's my grandmother's rings that I choose.

I guess since it was 20 year ago it's not such a big deal anyway.

Minnie, does it count if I got a stolen gold chain in kindergarten from one of the boys in my class? His mother called mine and asked for it back the next day!

I have no desire to have kept, or anything that reminds me of them

I don't see anything wrong with wearing jewelry from an ex. The past is the past - I don't identify the jewlery with the person or attach any emotion to it.

I'd have no problem wearing mine but most of it was stolen when our house was robbed a few years ago. The other pieces are gold, and I rarely wear yellow gold anymore (they were in the safe since I never wear them, so the thief didn't get them).

Maybe its different since I parted on good terms with the two ex's that have bought me jewelry, and I'm still friends with them.
