Would you/ Do you....

Wear jewlrey from an ex??
My friend's girlfriend loves a (really expensive Tiffany's) ring she got from her ex and won't give it up, even though she's been with my friend for a year now!
I say, pawn it and go on vacation! It's just wrong!
PS- My ex jewlery was all given away to friends

Ronnie broke most of it........ and alot of the diamonds I sold......................
Especially the diamond name tags, braclet tags ring tags....

I do not wear any jewelry from an ex, except a pair of diamond earrings he had bought with my mom and dad, I feel attached to those earrings probably becuase my MOm and Dad are both passed on. I was just discussing this woth my friend last night, that I am thinking of selling it and using it towards the wedding or a trip.LOL. I wonder what I can get for the stuff! I even have an broken engagemnt that I broke off, and he told me to keep the ring- I caught him cheating- I bet I can get a pretty penny for that- you got me thinking.....

I gave Ronnie when we first started Dating my 2ct Diamond earings from my ex...........
But in a fight in Factory he lost one..........
I don't know where the other one is either.
HM!!!!!

I had to buy him a new set for his fast recovery!!!!!!!

If I liked it I would keep it. I am a married woman, married to a terrific guy, a piece of jewlery from someone else is not going to change that. If frank doesnt mind then I dont mind.. I have a nice bracelet I got along time ago I cant even remember who gave it to me, and if i ever get it fixed i would wear it. It means nothing to me other than i think its nice.

I had a promise ring from my ex which I use to never take off. After a few months of hubby and I dating he mentioned something to me about wearing it. I said it didn't mean anything to me...which at the time didn't, I was just use to wearing it for so long. I took off the ring and hubby later surprised me with a cute ring that I loved until I lost it by mistake...but I still remember.

I sold some of mine on Ebay, and I gave my huge WG omega necklace with a slide to my FMIL. She loved it and I was gonna sell it or melt it or something. I also gave a WG necklace and bracelet to my mom.
I have a nice diamond solitaire necklace from the ex that I would wear once in a while, but FH bought me a new one so now the old one is just sitting in my jewlery box.
I also wore a movado my ex gave me until FH gave me a new one.

I know my friend stopped wearing a necklace when she dated someone new...but when they broke up...she started to wear it again...I see nothing wrong with it

No. The past is in the past. That is where my jewelry will remain. I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it around FH and I know he wouldn't like it at ALL!!

I don't see anything wrong with it - unless we're talking an engagement ring. But to answer, no, I don't wear anything from ex's. Anything I did have my sister (mysteriously) wound up with. I'm suremy FH would have a problem with it though...he thought it was weird that I bought myself a Tiffany necklace. I saw it, wanted it, bought it. No biggie.

Nope!! I made my old wedding band into diamond earrings for my daughter. I will give them to her when she is older. Everything else I sold. I still have my old e-ring, but I am trying to see that too.
