Well FH and I always spoke about this he said he would get my name tattooed across his heart. Well he loves teddy bears and would get a teddy bear tattoo and would put my name on it some how.
And I told him that I would too but where?! I dunno nowhere visable.
But I we're doing this after we get married because we done want to jinx anything..
How do u ladies feel about it?

I'm not opossed to it. I don't believe in that whole 'name tattoos are bad luck' bullcr@p.

we are going to get a symbol no names... after the wedding... we have always talked aout it since i alrady have 3 tattoos.. its not sweat off my back to get another.. we just need to come up with something we both like... i love the idea of dice (so tacky) but we have said from day one that we will beat the odds and make it (he left for college 6 months after we started dating officially) so i always thought it would be cute to have dice

I have one tattoo on my lower back and every other tattoo will be designed to fit in with my other ones...I'm kinda excited to see my name on that cute lil chest he got surrounded by his 5 chest hairs! awww!

heheh yes. make sure whatever you get means something.. i have one horriably UGLY tattoo on my ankel that will be FIXED before my wedding.. it means something to me but its just so UGLY..lol anyon know anyplace that will fix a tattoo?

If it's something you really want then go for it. I would never encourage anyone to get it in case they regret it after. It's definitely something you have to give alot of thought to

Most places will but not all do a good job. I went to the village and they did a great job.

i Have a shammrock on my lower back and a daisy on my shoulder. FH has the thundercats logo on his upper arm and a wolf on his shoulder. A good place to get tattoos in Queens is TrueBlue Tattoos. Its on fresh pond road.

i know id kill to go there but my pocket wouldnt... im thinking maybe tattoo lous.. theyll do anthing! i found a guy in lindenhurst i LOVE and he did a great job on my other tattoo but he wont touch anyone elses work... but the one on my ankel is just so bad i hate it... so i think ill pop in thre and see if theyll fix it

i think FH got a tattoo there - i lost track he has like 5
i got mine at Twin Moon on Jericho Turnpike
Fh also gets tatts from this guy that comes from CA once a year to do it - he is supposed to be like the best tattoo guy ever . . . i forget his name tho
ETA: I am trying to get FH to get matching tattoos - not the exact same thing but something similar and his will be a 'more manly' version - this is what i asked for for christmas so hopefully i get it! anyways, we are both probably going to get our kid's names in the DISTANT future lol
one idea i was thinking of was he wanted to get his whole forearm done ( i forget what thats called? when it goes all around ) and then i was going to get something little in the same design. . .
