Would you get....

i didnt want to get his name at first, so we got each others name in chinese... so i have 'kevin' in chinese on the back of my neck. and he has the chinese symbol for my name on his leg..

then one day i just went and got his name on my lower back with two tiny stars..... i then made him get my name on his arm!!

I have his initials on my left forearm, you can see it in this picture. I don't believe in luck - love, compromise & communication will make my marriage work, not whether or not his name is tattooed on my arm

I definitely would not get a tattoo of FH's name for a few reasons 1) I am jewish and it is against my religion; 2) I am terrified of needles and would probably go throuh cycles of getting the tattoo, passing out, waking up to the rusty tattooing me, and then passing out, and then waking up, passing out one more time and then wake up to find some sort of awful tattoo like a baracuda on my butt because rusty mistakened me for someone else. I've had dreams like this.

HAHA! I took a college friend to get her first tattoo.... she got so freaked out she puked! the tattoo guy says it happens all the time... it's a natural reaction by your body that's totally uncontrollable.... it was hysterical... i'm a terrible friend.

I think if any of you want a tattoo like that you should think about it for a few months and if you still want it, then do it, but it's obviously a very personal decision.

I think it's human nature to think 'well, what would I do if we broke up...' - If anything ever happened and we weren't together, I wouldn't get it tattooed over, this is part of my life and part of me. I could never erase him from my heart and memories, and it would be a reminder of what worked and what didn't.

I have asked FH if he would get my name. He says no. He thinks it's a Jinx to the marriage. And alot of tattoo Places say they don't do names. I won't get his name. I am afraid of needles...

He said he wants his kids names though.

Yeah my FH was talking to the guy that does his tattoo's and he said he dosen't do names and that alot of other people will not do names.
