Would you give your BP

their gifts at your bachelorette party?? I went to my friends Bachelorette party last night and she gave her BP their gifts. I thought that was kinda awkward.

I would only do it if only the girls in the bridal party were going to be there. I think it would be awkward to do that with other people there.

I have been to a couple of rehearsal dinners and the bride and groom always gave their BP their gifts there. In fact people all wanted to know what they gave them and expected them to open them.

Only if I weren't having a RD, even then, maybe a luncheon for the BP would be more appropriate.

I gave mine at the RD. I think that is where you normally would give them the gifts.

What if you plan on doing a luncheon for the girls? I want to do this for them so I might give it to them there or at the RD. Not sure..

The guys would get it at the RD along with the readers and the little ones.

I'm giving my BP their gifts at a bridesmaids luncheon that I'll have a few weeks before the wedding.

We're not giving any other gifts at the RD, so it would feel awkward to give the BP their gifts there.

I agree with you, that the bachelorette party is not the place for giving the gifts, but that's just my personal preference.

I think the Rehersal Dinner would be a more appropriate place to give them. JMO though.

I plan on giving my BP their gifts at a bridal luncheon that I plan on having for my BM's. My cousin who is my MOH won't be back from school until the day before the wedding. I plan on giving her gift the day of the wedding. I have no choice!
