Would you go alone? Or am I a weirdo?

Hey I see that you decided to go alone, do you have an update for us???

I was determined NOT to go alone when I was gown shopping but then I was naturally traveling because I do dog training as a hobby... so I went gown shopping with my maltese doggie hehe and she didn't give ANY backtalk. Does that count as going alone LOL?

I liked being alone so I could REALLY focus on the gowns and get an unbiased opinion from the bridal consultant. But after that I went shopping again with my friends and family and that helped but ONLY once I narrowed down my ideas for dresses. I hope that you have a good experience too!

I actually liked going alone better. I felt like I could really look at myself in the dresses and decide if I liked them or not without being influenced by the reactions or opinions of others. One of the bridal shops that I visited (where the ladies were so nice and helpful) said that they hardly see brides come in without an entourage, but they thought that it was actually smarter. They said that they've seen tons of brides pick a dress because their mother/sister/friend loved it and cried when they saw the bride in it, but the bride didn't seem in love with the dress.

It's definitely fun to go with friends, but I was really able to figure out what I wanted when I went alone.
